Producing Access Agreements for 2017-18

On the 17th of March 2016 Linking London held an event entitled ‘Producing Access Agreements’ which was designed to help Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in the composition of their 2017-18 Access Agreements in light of the new OFFA guidelines.

After a welcome from Sue Betts, Director of Linking London, Delegates heard from Hannah Cooper, Linking London, who provided an overview of the current Access Agreements of Linking London’s partner HEIs.

A roundtable discussion followed, where partners discussed their different approaches to the composition of the access agreements, their responses to the new OFFA guidelines. Delegates raised any problems faced by their respective HEIs in the production of the updated agreement and shared examples of best practice.

Andrew Jones, Linking London, presented Linking London’s proposed Collaborative offer for 2016-17 onwards and asked delegates for feedback on how the offer could be perfected to best serve partners. The final proposal will be submitted to the board on 6th of July, ready to roll out in Spring 2017.
