Access to HE Diploma Practitioner Group Meeting

The first Access to HE Diploma Practitioner Group meeting of the academic year was held on 8th October 2020 online.

After a warm welcome from Andrew Jones, Linking London, delegates heard from Julie Mizon, Access Manager, QAA. Julie gave an update on the latest QAA developments including the outcomes of the Extraordinary Regulatory Framework and the arrangements for the award and assessment of the Access to HE Diploma in 2020-21.  

Following this a roundtable partner update followed where partners shared information on their recruitment numbers, Access courses and online provision. 

After short breakMarisa Castellini, Head of Access to HE, OCN London presented to the group on the latest news and updates including feedback from providers and looking ahead to 20-21. 

The Linking London Outreach Hub team then presented looking at 2021 Access to HE Entry requirements in comparison with 2019 mapping and 2021 Access to HE Entry requirement mapping for London and the surroundings. 

The next meeting will take place on in the spring term, date and time TBC.
