Uni Connect (NCOP) - Linking London Update
The London South East Colleges Linking London Transition Week has now taken place, due to the hard work and collaboration of staff from many HE partners, as well as staff across departments at all three LSEC campuses, and our Uni Connect team. We look forward to sharing insights and feedback from this innovative event. As mentioned, one-to-one sessions have been the focus at all our other colleges, covering student finance, careers, university offers, and signing up new learners to the programme who we will be able to continue to work with during Phase 3 of the Uni Connect. Through UAL, we have been able to supply creative students on a subject-specific e-mentoring programme with fantastic ‘art boxes’, which are an effective incentive to participating in the mentoring and make a tangible difference to learners developing their portfolios.
A data visualisation in the form of a Concept Map has been produced using the data from our two student-led Young Researcher focus groups in March; this is available to view in the Evaluation section of our website so please do take a look. Further focus groups are being conducted in May to collect insights on some of our e-mentoring projects and these insights will also be shared in due course.
