IAG Practitioner Group Meeting Webinar

The meeting began with a presentation led by Caroline Tolond, Head of College Careers Service, The Careers Group, University of London who presented on the new online career planning tool and gave the group information on how to use it and what is available.  

Following this, the group then heard from Daniel Chow, Network Lead (East London), The London Enterprise Adviser Network, Team London, GLA who presented on the latest news including new resources, an update on how schools and colleges are doing against the Gatsby benchmarks in London and upcoming plans around FE. 

After a short comfort break, Linking London then gave an update on the resources available on our Partner Area and the Outreach Hub also provided information on new resources, news and developments including a new Access to HE Diploma package of videos starting in October, more information on this can be found here. Several of our partners then gave an update on recent news and events including personal statement workshops, outreach programmes and online advice and guidance. 

Lastly Ben Rutter, Funding Information Partners Account Manager, Partner Services, Student Loans Company presented on the latest news, including frequently asked questions, 2020/21 application information and EU residency.
