20 March 2019: Latest Linking London Labour Market Information Report – Health and Care

Linking London latest bi monthly LMI report is now out. In this report we focus on the Health and Care sector, looking at current trends and areas of growth for London.

In London the Health industry accounts for 12.5% of graduate work and Nurses are the biggest single outcome of university education, and heavily dominated by female workers.  I’m sure there is no surprise when we say that the NHS is the largest employer in London and the UK as a whole for the Healthcare sector. With more than 350 different roles available within the NHS there is a huge amount of career possibilities for students who want to get into this sector to explore.

Linking London, through the use of a purchased Labour Market Information tool called ‘Analyst’ from EMSI (Economic Modelling Specialist Intelligence), have produced this report as part of its bimonthly sector specific reporting series.

The full report, alongside an infographic summarising the key findings, can be found on the partners area of Linking London’s website
