IAG Practitioner Group Online Meeting

The meeting began with a presentation by Lynsey Hopkins, Operations Transition Lead at UCAS who presented on recent UCAS developments and updates, including some sector headlines, an overview of their support for students and providers in 2022, applicant numbers so far and looking ahead to 2025. 

Following this, a partner round table update then followed where our partners gave updates on IAG/outreach work with college learners planning to progress to HE, including latest news and events, issues and good practice. 

After a short comfort break, Ben Rutter, Funding Information Partners Account Manager at the Student Loans Company presented on the latest HE finance news, including SFE key messages, student finance arrangements for 2022/23, the DfE HE short courses trial and the early application campaign. 

Lastly, Jade Baker-Smith and Jess Brown, Linking London Uni Connect Outreach Officers then gave a Uni Connect Adult Work strand update & group feedback on offer for Spring and Summer Terms 2022.
