IAG Practitioner Group Meeting

The meeting began with a presentation by Anna Morrison, Director and Founder of Amazing Apprenticeships & Bradley Davis who presented to the group giving an overview of the apprenticeships landscape and the support/resources that’s available including an overview of the ASK programme. 

This was followed by a college and university round table update from partners on the latest news and updates from each institution. Discussion included the drop in UCAS applications, student apathy and upcoming events. 

After a short comfort break, Tasha Bassett, Student IAG Officer from the Office for Students presented to the group giving an overview of the Discover Uni website and what's available such as the various data, the course comparison tool, IAG resources, the resource hub and more. 

Lastly, Ben Rutter, Funding Information Partners Account Manager at the Student Loans Company presented on the latest HE finance news, including AY 2023-24 student finance rates and policies, government cost of living measures and pre-application launch information.  

The next meeting will take place on Thursday 20th April 2023, 2-4pm.
