Higher and Degree Apprenticeship Group Meeting

The third and last Higher and Degree Apprenticeship Group Meeting of the academic year was well represented, with both HE and FE partners present. 

After a warm welcome from Andrew Jones, Director at Linking London, the meeting began with a presentation from Mandy Crawford Lee, Director of Policy and Operations, University Vocational Awards Council. Mandy gave an update on UVAC’s ambition around Higher and Degree Apprenticeships and technical vocational skills and also gave an update on recent and future policy. 

A college and university partner update then followed from partners on engagement to date in developing & delivering higher and degree apprenticeships in the context of COVID 19. Discussion included what apprenticeships are being launched this year and in the future and September delivery. 

The meeting closed asking the group to contribute their thoughts towards the key priorities for the meetings going forward.
