These interventions are in group and one to one sessions.

Creative Residencies

  • Recent graduates of UAL who are specialists in their fields have been working with students across all our partner colleges, in creative subject areas, on 9 week classroom-based projects. For now this has moved online. They are offering insight into working in the creative industry alongside specific information and guidance about the ins and outs of studying these types of courses.

Collaborative Easter and Summer Schools

  •

Building on the successes of 2019 where students were hosted in various locations across three university sites for photography workshops, set and costume design sessions and a west end show across the three days, Goldsmiths University, Ravensbourne University and the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama came together in 2020 to develop the Get Creative At Home project.

Yes You Can! Summer School

  •

In 2019 the University of East London ran a successful residential summer school programme with learners across our colleges. The project revolved around hosting Level 3 BTEC learners at UEL campuses to build confidence and resilience, raise aspiration, and develop a strong knowledge base on higher education. Unfortunately due to Covid-19 the 2020 summer school was unable to go ahead but plans for 2021 are already in the pipeline.
