Access to HE Diploma Package - Week Beginning 18th October

In October, Linking London’s Uni Connect Outreach Hub, in collaboration with several university partners, will be releasing a series of videos for Access to HE Diploma students to help them in the early stages of their university applications.

Our university partners have been working hard on producing recordings on a variety of topics, including personal statements and study skills, all tailored to Access to HE Diploma students. Please see below a list of the different topics and the contributing university partners.

To register to receive the YouTube links for these recordings, please complete this form. Please also encourage your students to complete the form too. The recordings will be emailed directly to everyone who completes the form in the week commencing October 19th. We will also be attaching various resources to support students in their university applications, including mapping of Access to HE entry requirements at London universities in major subject areas – Business, Engineering, IT/Computing, Law, Midwifery, and Nursing.

We will also be holding a live Q&A session with a panel of student ambassadors (who were once Access to HE students) from multiple universities on October 22nd. You and your students will receive the link to the session if you sign up using the above registration form. A recording will be sent afterwards to everyone who registered, even if they weren’t able to watch live. Click this link for the calendar invite

HaDA Webinar - 4th June 2020 - 11pm-1pm - 

In our first Outreach Hub webinar, Sophie Baldry from Rate My Apprenticeship will discuss the higher and degree apprenticeship landscape in England and what the outlook might be moving forward, particularly in light of current events. Carlo Liu will share how Westminster Kingsway College successfully support their students into higher and degree apprenticeships. The webinar promises to be informative and helpful for CEIAG staff responsible for supporting students into higher and degree apprenticeships, particularly those in FE and sixth form colleges in London. There will be the opportunity for participants to submit written questions and the webinar will be recorded. View the presentations here
