  • This guide has been developed to help students studying an Access to Higher Education (HE) Diploma course who are planning to apply to study nursing, midwifery or an allied health undergraduate course.

    It includes information on what it’s like to study these courses, choosing the right course, how to make a strong application and how to prepare for an interview / selection day.

    It also includes information on related health and social care courses that might be of interest and suggestions on how to prepare to hit the ground running once students start their higher education course.

  • This publication will outline the current state of progression to HE from Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeships, as we know it, and look at some of the reasons for this. It will then give an overview of what Linking London is doing in an attempt to address some of these barriers on a local level.

    Finally, it will give a view on the national picture and what clear progression opportunities for all Advanced Apprentices might look like.
