At the third and last HADA Meeting of this academic year, we will be providing an opportunity to take stock in terms of apprenticeship news and policy developments over the past year, as well as looking ahead as to what the future might hold. Partners will also have the opportunity to hear about the very latest innovations in this space, as well as share challenges and good practice.

At the meeting, chaired by Darryll Bravenboer, Director of Apprenticeships and Skills at Middlesex University London, the group will be hearing from Mandy Crawford-Lee, Chief Executive, University Vocational Awards Council (UVAC), one of the leading figures in the higher-level apprenticeship arena, who will be guiding us through the latest policy developments and initiatives and looking ahead to what’s coming down the track.

And after our round table update, Darryll Bravenboer will also be updating the group on the latest developments in relation to Middlesex University’s work with Health Education England and the Open University, on establishing clear progression routes from the level 3 Senior Healthcare Support Worker apprenticeship on to HE Healthcare programmes.

And finally, via group discussion, we will be providing an opportunity for our college and university partners to chew the fat on topical matters, how these could impact the development and delivery of higher level apprenticeships and explore areas for collaborative working to the benefit of all.

Please note that this group is aimed at our university and college partners who are delivering or planning to develop higher and degree apprenticeships, although anyone with an interest in apprenticeship developments is welcome to attend.
