16th October 2019, 10am-5pm: Access Your Future - A Higher Education Day exclusively for pre Access and Access to HE Diploma students Linking London, supported by OCN London, is running ‘Access your Future’ a free one day event solely for pre Access and Access to HE Diploma students studying in London. The day will focus on supporting students in making their HE choices as well as applying and preparing for the transition to HE. Access Tutors are more than welcome to attend too. 17th October 2019, 10am-1pm: Linking London HE in FE Practitioner Group Meeting The first HE in FE Practitioner group meeting of the academic year will provide an opportunity for attendees to hear about the latest news and developments in college HE and share good practice and issues for the group to address collaboratively. 17th October 2019, 1.15pm-2.30pm: Linking London HE in FE Research Group Meeting The research group meeting will be held after the main HE in FE meeting and lunch will be provided. This will be our third meeting since the group was established. We will be discussing the research questionnaire we have been conducting and looking at our next steps and ways forward. 31st October, 10am - 1pm: Linking London BTEC Practitioner Group Meeting The first BTEC Practitioner Group meeting of this academic year will provide an opportunity for practitioners to explore the latest BTEC developments and issues affecting the qualification. 14th November 2019, 2pm-4.30pm: Linking London Higher Apprenticeship and Degree Apprenticeship (HADA) Group Meeting In this first meeting of the new academic year the Higher and Degree Apprenticeship Group, chaired by Darryll Bravenboer, Director of Apprenticeships and Skills at Middlesex University London, will offer partners an opportunity to provide updates on engagement to date in developing and delivering higher and degree apprenticeships and share issues and good practice. 21st November 2019, 2pm-5pm: Linking London Student Retention and Success Group Meeting Following a successful student retention and success event last academic year we are pleased to announce that we are now running a practitioner group to explore these themes in more detail.
