Linking London IAG Practitioner Group Meeting At the 2nd Linking London IAG Practitioner Group meeting of 2020/21, attendees will be hearing from a representative from the DfE who will be providing an overview of the government's review of level 4 and 5 education in England, which aims to address the declining take up of higher technical education to meet the skills needs of the economy, focussing on their work to raise awareness among potential students and employers. Improving Access to HE for White Working-Class Students White working-class students, especially males, are the "least likely" group to go on to higher education, according to the most recent figures from the Department for Education. This interactive event will explore some of the key issues and how do we begin to address them as a collaborative partnership of colleges and universities. Online
Linking London Access to HE Diploma Practitioner Group Meeting At this meeting attendees will also hear from Marisa Castellini, Head of Access at OCN London, who will be updating the group on the latest Access to HE Diploma developments and there will be an opportunity to share the latest news, issues and good practice via a round table update.
