The third IAG meeting of this academic year will feature a presentation from Jochen Pichler, Senior Policy Executive, External Relations, UCAS, who will be updating the group on behalf of the UCAS Policy team. This will provide an excellent opportunity to find out about the latest UCAS policy as well as resource developments.

Ben Rutter, Student Loans Company, will provide an HE Finance update to inform attendees on the latest developments. There will also be a round table update for partners to share IAG related developments. In addition, Linking London staff will be sharing the latest data on higher and degree apprenticeship opportunities in London.

Key points from the DfE’s Careers Guidance for further education colleges and sixth form colleges, released in February 2018, which builds on the measures set out in the government’s recent Careers Strategy, will be shared for comment at the meeting.

Meetings are aimed at Careers Advisers and University Outreach Staff, but are open to any staff at partner institutions who are interested in IAG relating to HE progression.
