The first IAG Practitioner Group Meeting of the 2017-18 academic year will focus on supporting college learners to write effective personal statements. Tim Dhir, Education Liaison officer at Kingston University, will be delivering an interactive session on how we can help learners present themselves in the best light when writing their statements.

At the meeting, Linking London will be sharing the latest data on higher and degree apprenticeship opportunities in London and Ben Rutter from the Student Loans Company will also be providing an HE Finance overview to keep attendees up to date with the latest developments.

The meeting will also provide an opportunity for partner staff to keep up-to-date with the latest IAG news, identify issues, potential solutions and share good practice via our round table updates. A range of new and updated Linking London IAG resources will also be made available at this meeting.

Meetings are aimed at Careers Advisers and University Outreach Staff, but are open to any staff at partner institutions who are interested in IAG relating to HE progression.
