The second BTEC Practitioner Group meeting of this academic year will provide an opportunity for practitioners to explore the latest BTEC developments and issues affecting the qualification, in the context of progression to higher level learning. At the meeting David MacKay, Head of Stakeholder Relationships (HE), Pearson will be updating the group on the latest BTEC developments and partners, though a roundtable update, will also have the opportunity to share news, issues and good practice as well as hear from Linking London about their work in this area.  The meeting will also explore our college partners experience to date of delivering the new BTEC RQF qualifications, including lessons learnt, as well as HE admissions requirements for applicants.

This meeting is aimed at HE and FE academic and admissions staff, advisers and widening participation staff and those with a responsibility for induction, retention and success. However, anyone with an interest in BTEC learners and progression to HE is welcome to attend.
