In this sector specific event we will be looking at why the creative sector, often poorly understood, is key to the UK and particularly London’s economy. Representatives from Creative Skillset, who work with the UK’s screen-based creative industries to develop skills and talent, will be providing an overview of  the creative industry, its importance to the economy and how to inspire the next generation to enter the industry.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to hear from a number of our partner HEIs, including Ravensbourne University London, Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, and Goldsmiths, University of London, about the wide range of creative courses and pathways offered. The focus will be on new and innovative provision, including higher level apprenticeships. We will also be exploring how we can work collaboratively to raise awareness of the wide range of opportunities that can lead to a diverse and rewarding career in the creative industries with students and their key influencers via a panel session.
