Linking London will be holding a postgraduate event to consider widening access in this area. Although, typically, widening participation has in the past been focused around undergraduate students we along with our partners are keen to address the issue of widening access at postgraduate level. We will be joined by Chris Rea and Laura Greaves from Prospects who will provide delegates with an overview of the current postgraduate landscape, including information around what we already know about the demographics of the students who decide to study at this level.

We will then be joined by some of our university partners, including Hester Gartrell from Birkbeck, University of London and Anthony Hudson, from University of East London who will both be sharing how their institutions are working to widening access to postgraduate students. There will also be an opportunity for delegates to share any issues or corners they have around improving widening access at postgraduate level and we will discuss practical ways we can work collaboratively to help improve access going forward.
