The third and last HE in FE Practitioner meeting of this academic year will provide an opportunity for practitioners to explore and discuss the latest developments regarding HE in FE.

This meeting will cover a variety of topics as suggested by practitioners. Arti Saraswat, the National HE Adviser (AoC), will provide a review of the year in terms of college HE and discuss what to look forward to in 2017 – 18. Liz Kebby-Jones from HEFCE will lead a question and answer session on the TEF and the new Quality regime and we will have the usual partner round up. After the break, we will hear from Michelle Craddock, Marketing Manager HE Qualifications, Pearson, who will be updating the group on a new resource in development to support colleges to promote their HND and HNC courses, followed by a group discussion on marketing the college HE offer.

The meeting will also provide attendees with the opportunity to share their thoughts regarding future topics and priorities for the group to explore in 2017 – 18.

This meeting is aimed at HE and FE academic and admissions staff, advisers and widening participation staff and those with a responsibility for induction and retention and success. However, anyone with an interest in HE in FE is also welcome to attend.
