Kate Burrell joined Linking London after 4 years as the National Manager on a HEFCE funded widening participation outreach project called Chemistry The Next Generation, which was run out of The Royal Society of Chemistry. Prior to this and after post-doctoral work in neurodegeneration; Kate taught general science, biology and chemistry in two inner London secondary schools.

Kate has been an assessor on the London Education Partnership Awards for STEM for the last 2 years and is developing a particular interest around parity in admissions for vocational learners.
