This meeting featured presentations from Arti Saraswat and Nick Davy from the AoC, Michelle Craddock from Pearson and a question and answer session led by Liz Kebby-Jones and Lenka Niederschuh from HEFCE and Andrew Jones, Linking London, offered insight on the current higher and degree apprenticeships vacancy landscape in Greater London.

3 July 2017: Linking London NCOP Update
During June we have been starting to focus on the planning for September onwards for our NCOP work. This has included developing a communications plan, planning activities to be delivered, curriculum mapping across our colleges and looking at developing a mentoring programme for the NCOP learners. We met with some of our college and HEI partners and have scheduled meetings for the Delivery Hubs, which will facilitate the mapping of activities from September onwards.

25 August 2017: Linking London NCOP Update
Over the summer we have been busy developing our work on the NCOP programme. There has been a lot of change in the office over the last months and we now have three new members of staff who joined us in late July and August - Sarah Fisher, our new Programme Office, Michelle Giordmaina, our new NCOP Engagement Officer, and Naomi Smith, our new Graduate Intern.

18 May 2017: Event report - Access Practitioner Group Meeting
The meeting featured presentations from Julie Farmer, Farmer Associates and former Head of Access at QAA, who provided an overview of Access to HE Diploma and widening participation to HE. Susie Wright, Morley College, presented on the current Access developments at Morley and provided an FE partner perspective on 2016/17. This was followed by a HE partner perspective by Caroline Sargisson, Middlesex University and Julie Bliss, King’s College London. Andrew Jones, Linking London, also shared a draft resource for Access learners, which is being co-developed by Linking London and Marisa Castellini from OCN London.

2 May 2017: Linking London NCOP Update
Since March there have been a number of Linking London NCOP developments to update you on. On the 20th April, the London NCOP Consortium held its first Governing Body Meeting at Kingston University, chaired by Kingston University’s Senior Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Dr David Mackintosh, and attended by Sue Betts and Emily Harber on behalf of Linking London.

9 June 2017: Linking London NCOP Update
Heading into June we have now completed the pilot phase of the NCOP in the North East delivery Hub and had our final NCOP Steering Group meeting of the academic year. We have been pleased with how this phase has progressed and will be looking at building on the lessons learnt over the summer as we turn our attention to the other two delivery hubs as well as continuing to work in the North East Hub. Thank you to everyone who has been involved in this stage and we very much look forward to our continued work with you all going forward.
